Scenic offers competitive rates for groups of 10 or more people to the same tour.

Scenic's Groups Policy


On itineraries of 12 days or under the 10th passenger goes free.  On itineraries of 13 days or more 16 passenger goes free

Port charges and taxes are Excluded in fare grid above and are not commissionable.

Group Allocation Review and Recall Dates

Review dates based on mutual consent to release space held without bookings/deposit.  Space will be reviewed in 180 days.   
All unsold group space will be recalled if there is no activity on the group.  If space is available, bookings may still be made into the group at the prevailing rate.

Group Allocation and Deposit 

No deposit is required to block group space.  Your group allocation is run of house availability. (ROH – availability based on any cabin category, any location on board the ship at time of booking).   Specific staterooms can only be allocated once names and deposits are provided.  A $500 per person non-refundable deposit is required within three business days of booking.    

Group Discount 

A minimum of five cabins (10) passengers is required for a group. Group Discount will be applied and adjusted as long as the group has reached the minimum group requirement of ten (10) passengers with paid deposits.  If the group falls below the minimum persons, Group Discount will no longer apply and may be recalled. 

Cancellation Dates and Penalties

Name changes* are permitted up to 91 days of travel for no fees and up to 60 days prior to travel on a case by case basis.

89-60 days prior to departure  35% of total price
59-30 days prior to departure    50% of total price
29 – 1 day prior to departure 100% of total price

*Name changes on cruise portion allowed on the same booking only as long as change is done prior to final payment.

Any name changes less than 90 before departure will be subject to name change fees.  

Tour Personaliser

  • Terms and Conditions in Tour Personaliser must be accepted on line as soon as they are available in the system. 
  • Guest Details Section in Tour Personaliser to be completed within seven (7) days of availability in Tour Personaliser
  • Within 180 to 120 days prior to departure – all sections of Tour Personaliser must be completed in order for documents to be issued in a timely manner 
  • If Tour Personaliser is NOT completed before final payment, an amendment fee of $25 per person per occurrence will apply and documents cannot be issued until amendment fee is paid

Tour Conductor Policy
The TC discount is based on the NET Category E cruise portion only less discounts and less commission (excludes Port charges & taxes which are to be paid by guests). TC may be taken as a tour conductor or as a discount to the group.

Final Payment

Final Payment is due 90 days prior to departure. Failure to pay the balance within 90 days of the cruise or tour departure date will result in cancellation and loss of the deposit.


In order to ensure prompt delivery of documentation, Tour Personaliser is required to be completed in full in a timely manner as above.  Scenic will send documentation to the agency of record two to three weeks prior to departure.

Booking Conditions

Medical, Mobility and Other Health Issues 

All medical, mobility and health issues must be noted in the booking record at time of booking.  Forms are required for those guests with health concerns, sleep apnea, oxygen machines and must be completed and provided to Scenic prior to final payment.  Scenic cannot accommodate completely wheelchair bound guests.   


Arrival and departure airport transfers are included as part of the packages providing clients arrive and depart on cruise start and end dates. Transfers are not included for passengers under their own arrangements pre- or post-tour. We strongly suggest booking our pre- and post-night hotels that would then allow for transfers to be included.


All gratuities are included on Scenic River Cruises and land tours, both on board and on shore.

Sightseeing Tours

Tours included in the cruise itinerary are usually walking tours or coach tours with a fair amount of walking. For safety and enjoyment, passengers should be in good physical condition, able to walk easily over cobblestone streets and up and down stairs.  Some Scenic Free Choice shore excursions have limited number of spaces available.  It is recommended that your clients select the Scenic Free Choice shore excursions that may be pre-booked in Tour Personaliser as soon as they are available for booking online.  

Scenic Inclusions

  • Transfers to and from airport on cruise start and end dates regardless of whom books the air.
  • All non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages throughout the ship and complimentary in-stateroom mini-bar (some conditions apply).
  • Multiple complimentary optional excursions in every port (Scenic Free Choice). 
  • Scenic Enrich Experiences included at no additional cost such as enjoying a glass of fine Austrian Sekt.  Then be enthralled by an enchanting private Viennese concert featuring music of Strauss and Mozart.
  • All relative Early Booking Incentive offers as per our confirmed 2016 Full brochure (subject to availability).
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the ship. 
  • Complimentary use of our state-of-the-art electric assist bicycles and Scenic Tailormade GPS devices.
  • Scenic Sundowners to toast the sunset in magical settings.
  • Butler services in all categories.
  • Up to six dining venues. 

Tour Price Does Not Include

  • Port charges
  • Meals other than specified in the itinerary.
  • Ultra-premium alcoholic beverages, French champagne and selections from our Vintage wine list.
  • Laundry and items of a personal nature.
  • Hair salon and massage.
  • Flights, unless included in the cost of the cruise.
  • Passport and visa costs.

Single Accommodation

Singles paying 100% single supplement will be counted as double occupancy. Singles in Category BS will count as a single passenger.  A limited number of single rooms are available at a Single Supplement rate.

Young Travellers

Travellers less than 18 years of age on the departure date must be accompanied by and share a cabin with an adult. Children less than 12 years of age on the departure date are not accepted. 

Passports and Visas

All passengers must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure any applicable visas for all countries visited have been obtained prior to departure. Failure to obtain correct documentation will mean the passenger will be unable to participate in particular shore excursions and may be denied boarding and/or entry into certain countries. Meeting necessary passport and visa entry requirements and costs is the sole responsibility of passengers and their travel agent.
