Day 1 | Highlights: Welcome dinner

You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink upon arrival at your hotel in Siem Reap, your stylish special stay for the next three nights. Please arrive at the hotel before 5pm.


Day 2 | Siem Reap Highlights: Enrich: Angkor restoration talk

Begin the day with a visit Preah Khan and Ta Prohm temples.

Enrich
Learn about an initiative that trains local Cambodian archaeologists who will in time take over the ongoing maintenance of the temples.

Visit Angkor Thom, the multi-faced Bayon Temple and the Elephant Terrace before stopping at Angkor Wat for those beautiful afternoon photos.

Freechoice Dining: Choose between local Khmer cuisine at Chanrey Tree or French Fusion at Sokkhak River.

Take your VIP seat at the colourful Cambodian Circus, Phare.


Day 3 | Siem Reap Highlights: Enrich: Sunrise Angkor Wat; Apsara Temple dinner

Marvel at sunrise over the magnificent Angkor Wat with a glass of champagne. Afterwards explore the temple before taking an included tethered balloon ride for incredible aerial views.


Day 4 | Siem Reap > Mekong Cruise Highlights:

Drive to Kampong Cham where Scenic Spirit awaits, with stops at the Khmer bridge at Kampong Kdei, Kampong Thom and a stone cutters village.


Day 5 | Wat Hanchey > Kampong Cham Highlights: Wat Nokor

Meet the young novice monks at Wat Hanchey. Sail to Kampong Cham where you visit Phnom Pros (Man Hill), explore the ecotourism village of Cheung Kok and Wat Nokor.


Day 6 | Oudong > Kampong Tralach > Kho Chen Highlights: Enrich: Monk blessing

After arriving at Prek K'dam, board your coach to the ancient capital of Oudong to visit the mountain stupas, pagoda and monastery.


Day 7 | Phnom Penh Highlights: Enrich: High tea and puppet show

Journey to the Killing Fields and tour Tuol Sleng, or take a guided tour of the local food market before joining a Khmer cooking demonstration. Alternatively, explore by Tuk Tuk Phnom Penh’s colonial buildings and the Russian Market.


Day 8 | Phnom Penh > Tan Chau Highlights: Border crossing; Gala ball

Relax during a full day of cruising as you cross the border into Vietnam. Make use of the ship’s luxury and take the time to enjoy a cocktail by the pool or appreciate some solitude on your private balcony. Tonight is your themed gala ball.


Day 9 | Tan Chau Highlights: Freechoice

Stay in Tan Chau and visit Evergreen Island and the local Cao Dai Temple with a ride in a cyclo. Alternatively choose from two options which cruise by speedboat to Chau Doc. Visit a family-operated fish farm before walking through a Cham village and taking a cyclo ride or visit Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, Cham Mountain and a local Khmer village.


Day 10 | Sa Dec > Cai Be Highlights: Sa Dec markets; Freechoice

Immerse yourself in the historic town of Sa Dec and explore the lively market, visit the home of Mr Huynh Thuy Le who inspired Marguerite Duras’ novel L’Amant and visit the Fuijian Chinese temple.


Day 11 | Mekong Cruise > Ho Chi Minh City Highlights:

Drive to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy a leisurely walk around the attractions near your historic hotel for the next two nights.


Day 12 | Ho Chi Minh City Highlights:

Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels with a Vietnam War Veteran.


Day 13 | Ho Chi Minh City > Hoi An Highlights:

Fly to Danang and transfer to Hoi An. Enjoy a three night stay at your hotel including a daily 90-minute spa journey.


Day 14 | Hoi An Highlights:

Take a walking tour of Hoi An’s World Heritage-listed Old Quarter before stopping at the home of a former merchant. A free afternoon allows you to visit one of the many tailors in town. Later at dusk cruise along Thu Bon River.


Day 15 | Hoi An Highlights:

Visit the ruins of My Son, or appease your appetite for local cuisine on a street food tour. Alternatively, enjoy Red Bridge restaurant or cycle to a nearby farming village.


Day 16 | Hoi An > Hue Highlights:

Travel via the breathtaking Hai Van Pass to Hue.


Day 17 | Hue Highlights:

Explore the concealed back roads of Hue by bicycle. Alternatively try the art of Vietnamese kite making.


Day 18 | Hue > Hanoi Highlights:

Fly to Hanoi for an overnight stay.


Day 19 | Hanoi > Halong Bay Cruise Highlights:

Journey to Halong Bay and board the elegant Au Co for an awe-inspiring special two night cruise through the picturesque waters of this spectacular World Heritage-listed icon. Stop for a swim and other water activities at Ban Chan Beach before partaking in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration.  After Happy Hour and a signature 5 star gourmet dinner, try your hand at some squid fishing.


Day 20 | Halong Bay Cruise Highlights:

Begin the day with a Tai Chi lesson on the Sun Deck. Later visit Sung Sot Cave. Later try your hand at some kayaking and then soak up the amazing views whilst cruising around Bai Tu Long Bay during an extended happy hour at the Lan Ha Bar. Tonight feast on your BBQ buffet.


Day 21 | Halong Bay Cruise > Hanoi Highlights:

After your morning Tai Chi, visit Vung Vieng fishing village by traditional bamboo boat.  Return to Tuan Chau, disembark and commence your drive back to Hanoi. Discover the Old Quarter backstreets on your cyclo ride.


Day 22 | Hanoi Highlights:

Au revoir Vietnam.
