Day 2 | Bangkok Highlights:
This morning cherish your visit to Wat Pho to witness the monks in their early morning chant. This uplifting ritual is a fantastic chance to experience the Buddhist culture and lifestyle of the monks. Visit the temple grounds and the enormous 45 metre reclining Buddha before continuing on to the Grand Palace, Thailand’s most important landmark. Appreciate the grandeur and majesty of the buildings, hallways and throne halls and marvel at the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image dating back to the 14th century.
SCENIC ENRICH Head to a local fortune teller and see what the future holds as you receive your very own personal reading by a local spiritual consultant.

Day 3 | Bangkok – Chiang Mai Highlights:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Late in the day journey to Wat Phra That, sitting on top on Doi Suthep Mountain, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Northern Thailand. Climb the 309 steps of the intricately carved Golden Naga staircase and be greeted by the golden spire which decorates the mountain top temple. View the richly decorated murals and shrines and discover the legend of how the temple was founded.

Two Night Special Stay: Chiang Mai
Day 4 | Chiang Mai Highlights:
Travel to an elephant training camp and learn about the breeding program and their health care. Watch the elephants taking their morning bath, see a demonstration of how they work in the jungle before experiencing
an elephant ride. Return to Chiang Mai where the remainder of the day is at leisure. Perhaps enjoy a traditional Thai massage or visit Chiang Mai’s famous night market.
Day 5 | Chiang Mai – Siem Reap Highlights:
Fly to Siem Reap, Sous Sdei and welcome to Cambodia! On arrival transfer to your luxury hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.
Three Night Special Stay: Siem Reap
Day 6 | Siem Reap Highlights:
Spend the morning exploring Angkor Thom and the multi-faced Bayon Temple before driving past the Elephant Terrace viewing platform. Then before lunch explore and marvel at the size of Angkor Wat in detail.
Day 7 | Siem Reap Highlights:
Marvel at sunrise over the magnificent Angkor Wat before enjoying breakfast in a peaceful location prepared by a local NGO bakery with a glass of champagne.
Day 8 | Siem Reap – embark cruise Highlights:
Drive to Kampong Cham with stops at the ancient Khmer bridge at Kampong Kdei, Kampong Thom and a stone cutters village. Next stop is the luxurious Scenic Spirit.
Day 9 | Wat Hanchey - Kampong Cham Highlights:
Meet the young novice monks at Wat Hanchey, an ancient hilltop pagoda and monastery. Walk to the top and soak in some of the best elevated views of the cruise. Sail to Kampong Cham where you visit Phnom Pros (Man Hill), explore the ecotourism village of Cheung Kok and Wat Nokor, an 11th century temple that has a modern pagoda built within.
Day 10 | Oudong > Kampong Tralach > Koh Chen Highlights:
After arriving at Prek K'dam, board your coach to the ancient capital of Oudong to visit the mountain stupas, pagoda and monastery.
Day 11 | Phnom Penh Highlights:
Journey to the Killing Fields and tour Tuol Sleng (S21), or take a guided tour of the local food market before joining a hands-on Khmer cooking demonstration. Or explore by Tuk Tuk Phnom Penh’s colonial buildings and shop in the Central Market before enjoying lunch at a local NGO restaurant.
Day 12 | Phnom Penh - Tan Chau Highlights:
This morning, visit the National Museum and Royal Palace with its famous Silver Pagoda before begging your journey down the Mekong river to the Cambodian and Vietnamese border.
Relax during a full afternoon of cruising as you cross the border into Vietnam. Make use of the ship’s luxury and take the time to enjoy a cocktail by the pool or appreciate some solitude on your private balcony. Tonight enjoy your gala dinner.
Day 13 | Tan Chau Highlights:
Stay in Tan Chau and visit Evergreen Island and the local Cao Dai Temple with a ride in a cyclo. Alternatively choose from two options which cruise by speedboat to Chau Doc. Visit a family-operated fish farm before walking through a Cham village and taking a cyclo ride or alternatively visit Tra Su Bird Sanctuary and a local Khmer village.
Day 14 | Sa Dec – Cai Be Highlights:
Immerse yourself in the historic town of Sa Dec and explore the lively market, visit the home of Mr Huynh Thuy Le who inspired Marguerite Duras’ novel L’Amant and visit the Fuijian Chinese temple. Continue sailing downstream to Cai Be. Board a sampan to visit area around Cai Be floating market before stopping at local cottage industries and a French colonial house. Return to Scenic Spirit for tonight’s Champagne farewell dinner.
Day 15 | Disembark cruise - Ho Chi Minh City Highlights:
Depart My Tho and drive to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival enjoy a leisurely walk around Notre Dame Cathedral, Opera House and Central Post Office before relaxing at your hotel for the next two nights
Day 16 | Ho Chi Minh City Highlights:
Travel by boat and coach to meet a Vietnam War Veteran at the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about the underground labyrinth of war-time passageways.
Day 17 | Depart Ho Chi Minh City Highlights:
Depart with many cherished memories.
