Day 2 | Zurich > Lucerne Highlights:
Repeatedly named the city with the best quality of life, Switzerland’s largest city is full of treasures and you’ll have the chance to discover them first-hand. After that, you’ll get to explore Lucerne, overlooked by the magnificent Swiss Alp peaks of Mounts Pilatus and Rigi, before arriving at one of our majestic hotels for an overnight stay.
Day 3 | Lucerne > Montreux Highlights:
Ascend the Swiss Alps to the charming alpine village of Gstaad. This afternoon you’ll get the chance to luxuriate at your hotel in Montreux, located on the shores of picturesque Lake Geneva, where you’ll enjoy a two night stay.
Day 4 | Montreux Highlights:
Today you’ll board a first class carriage for a panoramic train journey to Château-d’Œx. Upon arrival you’ll view traditional cheese-making in rustic ambience at the Restaurant Le Chalet. The Restaurant Le Chalet makes its own cheese, “Le Chalet Bio”. The cheesemaker transforms milk into a hard cheese right in front of your eyes. At the end of the demonstration you’ll have an opportunity to taste the freshly made cheese.
Day 5 | Montreux > Basel Highlights:
Today leave Montreux and journey to neighbouring Vevey, home to Charlie Chaplin once he’d fled the United States. Enter the world of Charlie Chaplin as you meet one of the 20th century’s most celebrated artists during a visit to the Chaplin’s World Museum.
From there, it’s on to Basel where a warm welcome awaits you from the crew of your luxury Scenic Space-Ship. Your luxury cruise is about to begin and you’ll have the chance to raise your glass to the occasion at the evening’s welcome reception.
Day 6 | Breisach Highlights: Black Forest
Be immersed in a truly magical experience as you step inside the setting of the Hansel and Gretel fable during your visit to the Vogtsbauernhof Open Air Museum in the heart of the Black Forest. Alternatively, if you’re feeling more active discover the Black Forest during a hike and cable car ride, or take a guided bike ride.
Day 7 | Strasbourg Highlights: Enrich concert at Rastatt Palace
Visit Strasbourg, the capital city of the Alsace region in northeastern France, where you’ll discover La Petite France, the unique historic quarter, and stroll through the Old Town with its half-timbered houses and distinctive Alsatian winstubs. Day 8 | Mannheim Highlights: Heidelberg

Alternatively, experience the thrill of the Hockenheim Formula 1 race track (available on selected dates, please enquire for details), with a museum visit and an insider tour of the circuit.
Day 9 | Rüdesheim > Rhine Gorge Highlights: Rhine Gorge
Succumb to charming Rüdesheim, where you’ll board the Winzerexpress mini-train for a guided visit of Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Afterwards, enjoy a cable car ride to the Niederwald Monument for a spectacular view of the river. Later, you can look forward to unrivalled views across the spectacular World Heritage-listed Rhine Gorge.
Day 10 | Cochem Highlights: Reichsburg Castle
A medieval gem resting on the banks of the Moselle River, Cochem will make you feel as if you’re stepping directly off the ship and into a fairy tale. Explore this charming city on your guided tour, culminating in your visit of the iconic Reichsburg Castle.
Day 11 | Moselle Valley Cruising Highlights: Moselle Valley cycling
Appreciate the true allure of the Moselle Valley from the opulence of your Scenic Space-Ship, as you delight in a full day cruise. Or if you’re feeling energetic, join a picturesque guided bike ride to the pretty village of Bernkastel, where you’ll be welcomed back on board your luxury Scenic Space-Ship.
Day 12 | Bernkastel Highlights: Luxembourg excursion
Journey to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for a guided tour, and enjoy some free time to discover the many delights of one of Europe’s smallest countries. Alternatively, take a relaxing guided walk through Trier, or take in beautiful Bernkastel.
Day 13 | Koblenz Highlights: Scenic Sundowners
On arrival in Koblenz take advantage of a guided tour of this historic city, lapped by the waters of two of Europe’s most beautiful rivers.
Day 14 | Xanten Highlights: Zollverein industrial site
Discover the charming town of Xanten on a guided tour. Alternatively, try something a little different with a visit to the Zollverein industrial site, once the largest and most productive coal mine in Europe, today it's a World Heritage-listed Site.
Day 15 | Maastricht Highlights: Holland’s oldest fortified city
Holland’s oldest fortified city, Maastricht is a popular destination with a welcoming multicultural atmosphere. Enjoy a guided tour of its magnificent buildings and historic cobblestone town centre, where you can indulge in some fine dining and excellent shopping. Alternatively, explore the city at your own pace with Scenic Tailormade, your own personal GPS device which also provides expert insights on the city’s many historic points of interests.
Day 16 | Arnhem Highlights: Arnhem WWII museum
Explore the Arnhem Airborne Museum and learn about the Battle of Arnhem. The Airborne Experience allows you to follow in the footsteps of the British parachutists who made their way across dangerous terrain to Arnhem in September 1944. Alternatively, visit the Netherlands Open Air Museum and discover historic houses, farms and windmills. The museum portrays the impression of daily life for the average Dutchman over the past few centuries.
Day 17 | Veere Highlights: Delta Works
Marvel at the modern wonder that is Holland’s Delta Works, including a guided visit through the Storm Surge Barrier. Alternatively, choose a guided tour through the quaint streets of Veere, or cycle the town and view the surrounding dykes.
Day 18 | Antwerp Highlights: Bruges city tour
Be seduced by beautiful World Heritage-listed Bruges or discover delightful Antwerp on a guided walking tour, followed by some leisure time.
Day 19 | Amsterdam Highlights: Farewell
After a delicious breakfast, prepare to head home. It may be the end of your cruise, but it’s the beginning of a lifetime of fond memories. Please schedule flights to depart after 12 midday.
