  1. Day 1 - Nuremberg

    Your journey into wonder begins today. Relax and raise your glass to the days ahead at this evening’s welcome reception.
    Please note your arrival flight must arrive into Nuremberg no later than 2pm or into Munich no later than 1pm.

  2. Day 2 - Regensburg

    There is much to explore in the 2,000-year-old town of Regensburg, situated at the confluence of three rivers.

    Enjoy a walking tour of Regensburg, or hop on board a local ferry and sail the Danube Gorge to Weltenburg Abbey and sample beer from one of the world’s oldest monastic breweries. Alternatively, join a local guide for a cycle to the Walhalla monument, or take an active walking tour to Thurn und Taxis Palace.

  3. Day 3 - Salzburg

    Enjoy a guided tour of the baroque Old Town of Salzburg, learn about one of its most famous residents, Mozart, and be mesmerized by the city’s history and architecture. Alternatively, you may choose to join a walking tour focusing on sights from the classic movie ‘The Sound of Music’.

  4. Day 4 - Melk > Dürnstein

    Experience Melk’s magnificent 18th century Benedictine Abbey on a guided tour, or if you are feeling more active, embark on a guided bike ride along the river from Melk to Dürnstein, one of the most enchanting villages in the region. Alternatively, visit the fairytale castle of Burg Aggstein. Built in the 12th century, the castle ruins offers spectacular views across the Danube.

  5. Day 5 - Vienna

    Acquaint yourself with this opulent city by taking a fascinating guided tour of its most famous sights, including the Ringstrasse.

  6. Day 6 - Vienna

  7. Day 7 - Budapest

    Today we find ourselves in Budapest, the capital of Hungary and one of Europe’s oldest and prettiest cities.

    Make the most of a guided tour of Budapest including a piano concert, or relax and unwind at the Thermal Baths and Spa. Choose to experience the labyrinths of the Hospital in the Rock, or join a local guide for a walking tour focused on the past and present of Budapest. Alternatively, if you’re feeling more active, you may choose to join a hike to Buda Hill.

  8. Day 8 - Budapest > Prague

    Journey by coach to Prague where you will spend 3 nights in one of our luxurious city central hotels.

  9. Day 9 - Prague

    Join your expert local guide to explore Prague in all its Gothic glory including the Old Town, the famous Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge, commissioned in 1357 by charles IV.

    Enjoy a walking tour of Prague, tasting locally produced beer along the way. Alternatively, learn about the 900 year history of Strahov Monastery and delight in its many wonders including the Treasury and art gallery.

    Tonight, relish a delicious Czech dinner. Lobkowicz Palace is located in the heart of the castle district and is the location for your highlight dinner, accompanied by live music.

  10. Day 10 - Prague

    Stroll this magnificent city at your leisure. Situated on the banks of the River Vltava in central Bohemia, Prague is rich in history and home to some of the world’s most striking architectural wonders. Your Tour Director is on hand to help you plan.

  11. Day 11 - Prague > Munich

    Travel through Bohemia and Bavaria to reach the German city of Munich. Upon arrival join a local guide for a walking tour of the beautiful city. Among the highlights visit the Viktualienmarkt and Marienplatz and see the impressive Glockenspiel.

  12. Day 12 - Munich > Oberammergau

    Journey to the town of Oberammergau. In 1633, the residents of the town vowed that if they were spared from the bubonic plague sweeping the region, they would produce a play for all time depicting the life and death of Jesus. Today, you will have the privilege of attending this epic play, performed every ten years.

  13. Day 13 - Oberammergau > Munich

    After breakfast, return to Munich where you will enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

    This evening, join your fellow travellers and dine in traditional Bavarian style.

    After breakfast, transfer to Munich airport for your onward or home bound flight.
