  2. Day 2 - Porto > Entre-os-Rios

    Discover the historic treasures of Porto, including a visit to Palacio da Bolsa, a neoclassical style building which started construction in 1842 and took over 65 years to complete or if you’re feeling more active, join a walking tour that includes a cable car ride allowing you to see Porto from a different perspective.

    Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of cruising as your luxurious Scenic Space-Ship meanders its way to Entre-os-Rios.

  3. Day 3 - Entre-os-Rios

    Guimarães was the seat of the first King of Portugal and is dominated by the impressive Ducal Palace, which dates back to medieval times. It’s a great tour to kickstart your interest in this fascinating region. Alternatively, you could choose a tasting at the fairytale property of Quinta da Aveleda. Located in the famous Vino Verde region and a renowned regional sparkling wine producer, the incredible gardens alone make the excursion worthwhile.

  4. Day 4 - Regua

    This morning, discover the captivating Varosa Valley and visit the charming village of Tarouca where you’ll explore the restored Monastery of Saint John of Tarouca. Enroute, walk the fortified bridge of Ucanha, Portugal’s first toll bridge, spanning the crystal-clear waters of the Varosa River.

    Tour the elegant town of Lamego, with its many fine Baroque structures such as the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios and the Lamego Museum, both of which you will get the opportunity to visit.   5. Day 5 - Regua > Vega de Terron

    Take your time absorbing the architectural splendour of Salamanca, a city as visually striking as it is historically intriguing. From humble beginnings during the Iron Age to darker times, such as economic crises and the War of the Spanish Succession, Salamanca has been shaped over time to become the fascinating beauty it is today. Explore the city on a guided tour before enjoying the ‘Tastes of Spain’ during a market visit followed by free time. Your lunch today will be accompanied by an energetic Flamenco dance performance.

  7. Day 7 - Pocinho > Pinhão

    Enjoy a leisurely cruise to nearby Pocinho for our Côa Valley discovery.

  8. Day 8 - Pinhão

  10. Day 10 - Porto

Or visit Vila Nova de Gaia, the historic district set on the banks of the Douro River, for a tasting of the region’s famed drop in one of the most famous cellars of Porto.

    You have the opportunity to explore Porto at your leisure this afternoon or simply make the most of the remainder of your time aboard Scenic Azure.

    Disembark your cruise and fly to Marseille. Marseille is the oldest city in France and its lively Old Town and quaysides are worthy visits and your accommodation for the night is the perfect base to see it from.

  12. Day 12 - Marseille > Nice

    This morning, join your local guide to explore all the history and splendour on offer in Marseille before continuing to Nice. With a beautiful old town and picturesque seaside promenade, Nice will delight and surprise.  This afternoon, check into your hotel and enjoy some free time to explore the Côte d’Azur region before a delicious welcome dinner in a local restaurant.

  13. Day 13 - Nice > Monte Carlo > Rapallo

    This morning, enjoy the scenic journey to neighbouring Monte Carlo in Monaco. See why some of the world’s rich and famous choose to live in this picturesque principality.   14. Day 14 - Cinque Terre

    The rugged coastline known as the Cinque Terre, or ‘Five Lands’, is a World Heritage-listed Site that comprises the five villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. They’re accessible only via walking paths, train or boat, but this only lends to the already considerable charm of these unique 11th century villages. Today, you’ll enjoy a full day exploring this picturesque coastline.

  15. Day 15 - Pisa > Florence

    Travel to Pisa and explore the town on a walking tour before visiting the Square of Miracles for a view of the legendary ‘Leaning Tower’. It may be famous for its leaning tower, but Pisa also has a wealth of historic churches, palaces and bridges. After spending a little time discovering this historic maritime republic, you’ll travel to San Gimignano to discover the Communal Palace and Duomo, among other wonderful attractions. This afternoon, you’ll arrive at your hotel in Florence, the jewel in the crown of Italy’s alluring Tuscany region.

  16. Day 16 - Florence

    Florence is often called the ‘capital of arts’, and for good reason. According to UNESCO, sixty percent of the world’s most important works of art are located in Italy and half of those are in beautiful Florence. Enjoy a walking tour of the city, starting at the Academy of Fine Arts, where you’ll get to admire Michelangelo’s David. You’ll also see Giotto’s Belltower, and get to walk on the Ponte Vecchio.

  17. Day 17 - Florence > Rome

    Begin today’s sightseeing in the world’s smallest country, the Vatican City, visit the Vatican Museum, the breathtaking Sistine Chapel, and the world’s largest church, St. Peter’s Basilica, before emerging into St. Peter’s Square. Continue to the Roman Forum, surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings in Rome’s centre, conclude your tour at the mighty Colosseum. Enjoy a free afternoon before a special farewell dinner with newfound friends in Italy’s alluring capital city.
