  1. Day 1 - Cape Town

    Welcome to Cape Town for an exclusive three night Special Stay, with views of the waterfront and Table Mountain. Tonight, meet your Tour Director for a welcome drink and dinner.

  2. Day 2 - Cape Town

    Ascend Table Mountain by rotating gondola for wondrous 360 degree views.

    Sample South Africa’s finest vintages with a winelands tour. Alternatively, visit history rich Robben Island, take a township tour, or a Harley DavidsonTM ride.

  3. Day 3 - Cape Town

    Journey along the Atlantic coastline to Cape Point, stop at the Cape of Good Hope, then visit Boulders Beach, home to an African penguin colony.

  4. Day 4 - Cape Town > Oudtshoorn

    Stunning semi-desert scenery awaits en route to the town of Oudtshoorn. Later, discover a wonderland of underground chambers at the Cango Caves, among the largest in the world, before your overnight stay.

  5. Day 5 - Oudtshoorn > Knysna

    Learn about Africa’s largest bird at a local ostrich farm, then head to Knysna on the Garden Route, famous for its oysters. You’ll enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel. Enjoy a scenic cruise with expert commentary on the region’s flora and fauna.

  6. Day 6 - Port Elizabeth > Durban

    Travel along the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth and board your flight to Durban. Enjoy a two night Special Stay at your hotel, the ultimate in colonial charm and style.

  7. Day 7 - Durban

    Discover the beach side town of Durban, famous for its Indian and colonial influences.

    Enjoy learning about the Zulu battles that took place close to Durban whilst sampling afternoon tea.

  8. Day 8 - Hluhluwe > Ghost Mountain

    The Dolphin Coast region of Natal has a sea of sugarcane fields. Enter Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Park, world-renowned for its rhino conservation program. Later, check into your elegant hotel for a two night stay at the foot of Zululand’s legendary Ghost Mountain.

    This evening, you’ll be treated to a mesmerising display of traditional Zulu dancing, complete with dramatic local drumming.

  9. Day 9 - Ghost Mountain

    Visit a traditional Zulu community in the Lebombo Mountains, and be welcomed by the village chief for a private tour.

  10. Day 10 - Ghost Mountain > Swaziland

    Arrive in the tiny kingdom of Swaziland. Journey through the magnificent valleys of Big Bend to your resort, nestled within an idyllic Botanical Garden, for an overnight stay. Enjoy time at leisure to explore the magnificent garden.

  11. Day 11 - Swaziland > Kruger National Park

    The famous Kruger National Park stretches an impressive 450 kilometres. You’ll enjoy a two night Special Stay at your lodge, situated on a private concession within the park. The Sabie River flows through it and is home to the highest recorded concentration of leopards in Africa. Take a game drive in an open safari vehicle this afternoon.

    At the end of your game drive, partake in one of the most enjoyable of safari traditions – Sundowner drinks.

    Soak up the night-time ambience while dining at your lodge.

  12. Day 12 - Lion Sands Game Reserve (Kruger National Park)

    Limitless game viewing possibilities await, so make sure you bring your camera. Specially adapted Land Rovers are able to traverse the entire Kruger National Park without restriction to track the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

    Encounter hippos by exploring the shores of the Sabie River on foot, with a game ranger, or enjoy a fascinating lecture on wildlife. Alternatively, visit a local community.

  13. Day 13 - Panorama Route > Johannesburg

    Take in the magnificent Panorama Route on the road to Johannesburg. You’ll view the Blyde River Canyon, third deepest in the world, then visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes and enjoy spectacular views from Wonder View. Check into your stylish hotel for two nights.

  14. Day 14 - Johannesburg

    Visit Soweto with your local guide, walk the streets that Mandela walked as you visit his house. Learn about the 20th century South Africa during your visit to the Apartheid Museum.

  15. Day 15 - Johannesburg > Victoria Falls

    Board your flight to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The world’s largest sheet of falling water rises 108 metres high and spans a gorge carved out of a flat plateau. Check into your marvellously colonial hotel for your three night Special Stay. Tonight’s outdoor dinner features a mesmerising display of traditional dancing.

    Be treated to a special Sundowners cruise down the Zambezi River and watch the teeming wildlife on the banks, drink in hand, just upstream from the Victoria Falls.

  16. Day 16 - Chobe National Park

    Large concentrations of big game call Chobe National Park home. Embark on a game drive along the shoreline, where predators often come to drink. Later, enjoy a cruise on the Chobe River, home to huge herds of elephants and buffalo. Large pods of hippo and giraffe families inhabit the banks and woodlands.

  17. Day 17 - Victoria Falls

    Visit a typical Zimbabwean village to gain unique insights into traditional tribal life and meet the elephants as part of your visit to the elephant sanctuary.

    Later, witness the power of Victoria Falls with a tour of the Zimbabwean side of the world’s largest waterfall. Enjoy dinner in the beautiful Livingstone Restaurant.

  18. Day 18 - Victoria Falls > Nairobi

    Helicopter flight - Enjoy an optional helicopter flight over Victoria Falls. Enquire for details – additional expense, please book on tour.

    Later, you’ll fly to Nairobi and be transferred to your opulent hotel, for your overnight stay.

  19. Day 19 - Nairobi > Tarangire National Park

    Journey into magical Tanzania and stay for two nights at your luxurious lodge in the Tarangire National Park.

  20. Day 20 - Tarangire National Park

    Take an early morning game drive in search of Tarangire’s famous tree-climbing lions.

    Enjoy an absorbing traditional dance by a local tribe within the lodge grounds.

  21. Day 21 - Tarangire National Park > Ngorongoro

    Travel onto the Ngorongoro Crater, known as ‘Africa’s Eden’. You’ll enjoy a two night stay at your lodge, on the crater’s rim.

  22. Day 22 - Ngorongoro Crater

    Witness a spectacular sunrise over the crater before taking an extended game drive along the crater floor. The area is reputed to contain the largest number of predators in all of Africa.

  23. Day 23 - Ngorongoro Crater > Amboseli National Reserve

    Enjoy marvellous views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest freestanding mountain in the world, as massive herds of elephants migrate across the dry plains of Amboseli National Reserve. On your game drives today and tomorrow, cheetahs and lions can often be seen stalking the plains. Your lodge, your home for two nights, sits beside a major elephant trail with views of the mountain.

  24. Day 24 - Amboseli National Reserve

    Go in search of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives.

    Climb to the top of Observation Hill and gaze at the sunset views, drink in hand.

  25. Day 25 - Amboseli National Reserve > Lake Nakuru National Park

    Journey north into the heart of Kenya to Lake Nakuru. You’ll enjoy a two night stay at your lodge, overlooking the lake. Take game drives around the shores and the national park, home to black and white rhino, giraffe and many other species.

  26. Day 26 - Lake Nakuru

    The shallow alkaline lake near the town of Nakuru is home to vast bird populations.

    Visit the Lake Nakuru Orphanage Centre, established by an Australian family. Partake in a memorable lunch with the children and draw a little closer to Africa and its wonderful people.

  27. Day 27 - Masai Mara Reserve

    The Masai Mara is home to 95 species of animals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 species of birds. The annual Great Migration from July to September attracts over a million wildebeest, zebra and impala, a phenomenon that has to be seen to be appreciated. Spend three nights inside the reserve at your camp.

  28. Day 28 - Masai Mara Reserve

    Game drives through the Masai Mara encompass all types of animals, from lion, cheetah and leopard, to vast herds of antelope and zebra. During migration season you get the chance to see the crossings at the Mara River, renowned for its crocodiles.

    Visit a traditional Maasai village and learn about this complex and proudly independent culture and
    their close association with the wild animals.

  29. Day 29 - Masai Mara Reserve

    Hot air balloon flight - Experience the savannah at dawn from a hot air balloon. Enquire for details – additional expense, please book on tour.

  30. Day 30 - Masai Mara > Nairobi

    Enjoy an exclusive farewell bush breakfast on the open plains of the Masai Mara, right amongst the wildlife.

    Board your light aircraft for a scenic flight over the reserve to Nairobi where it’s time to say farewell to new-found friends and the magic of Africa. Please book flight to depart after 4pm.
